Internally, Bauer used comfortable and durable medium-density foams topped with hydrophobic mesh. The center portion is removable so players can throw it in the wash or simply take it out after a game for quicker drying. The strapping system is straightforward and secure, utilizing a 2″ elastic lower strap and a 1″ elastic upper strap.
