- Seeing his school team playing Rollball game, he loved the sport and was inclined into playing it and hence is playing since the age of 14.
- His achievement includes 1 Asian Championship, 8 times National medalist, and
- 2 times All India University medalist.
- Shankar is Guiness world record holder for Rollball game.
- He is working hard and is visioned on representing team India and winning Roll ball World Cup for India.
